Hammered Pāua

These earrings feature pieces of pāua (abalone) paired with an antique hammered semicircle. Pāua are sustainably harvested by Luméa under New Zealand’s strict quota system, ensuring healthy wild populations. The shells’ natural iridescence reflects the coastal waters of Aotearoa and their cultural importance to the Māori people.

Each pair is completely unique, as the shell pieces are different shapes and colors. These earrings feature some of our most irregularly shaped Pāua pieces, and we love them so much!
