Scallop Design Co. was founded by a coral reef scientist, Dr. Erin Winslow. She created this business to combine her scientific expertise and love for meaningful keepsakes, crafting eco-friendly jewelry for ocean lovers who care about their impact on the planet.

What we do

We create unique pieces inspired by the beauty of the ocean and her inhabitants. Our materials feature responsibly sourced pearls, abalone, vintage shells, and intention-driven crystals.

How we're different

Many jewelry brands celebrate ocean life but may unintentionally source materials in ways that harm marine ecosystems.

Every piece we make is responsibly sourced:

• Pearls and abalone (or Pāua) are harvested sustainably (see our transparency page!)

• Rare finds come from vintage collections—not fresh extractions
